Getting in touch and Booking a Session
When you use the contact form on this site, I collect the information you provide, including your name, email address, and whatever you share in your message, so I can respond to your enquiry. This information is provided to Squarespace, who host the site and store form submissions on my behalf.

If you proceed to book an outdoor trail session, my intake process will require you to complete a booking agreement that logs essential contact info and any relevant health, injury, or allergy details to ensure your physical safety on the trail. Under UK privacy laws, health data is classified as Special Category Data, and it is gathered purely for safe route planning based entirely on your explicit consent. I do not sell or share your details with any third parties, and they are used solely to communicate with you and securely deliver your photography session.

Data Controller and ICO Registration
For the purposes of UK GDPR, the data controller is Scott Evans, operating as a sole trader under the trading name Evans Perspective. Prior to commencing commercial trading operations, the business will be formally registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) as a registered data controller.

How long I keep your information
For general web enquiries that do not result in a booking, I will keep your details only as long as needed to respond to your message, after which they will be deleted.

For confirmed clients who sign a Trail Session Booking and Safety Agreement, the completed document and any associated safety logs will be retained securely on record for a period of six years. This timeline is maintained in strict alignment with standard UK commercial legal practices regarding negligence and liability claims, after which the data will be permanently and securely wiped.
